To manage potential adverse impacts on traffic flows to ensure network performance is maintained at an acceptable level.
Traffic Control Permit Applications
You will need this permit if you intend to perform any lane closures and traffic control associated with the activities authorised under a road corridor permit. You will need this permit to ensure:
- road works or events can be carried out safely
- department assets are adequately protected
- there is minimal disruption to road users
- traffic control activities are performed in accordance with the ‘Manual of uniform traffic control devices part 3 works on roads’.
